Sign-A-Rama Downtown Launches Signs of Support 2010!

We are pround to announce the launch of our third year of Signs of Support, our grant program for non-profits, schools, churches and other civic-supporting organizations.

We have $10,000 this year to give in grants for signage, graphics, design and installation services.  Our grants are being accepted until January 31, 2010 and the grant winners will be announced in March 2010.  Recipients must serve residents of Louisville and/or Southern Indiana to be considered.

Grant Criteria:
- Value of project - Does the return to the community match the value of the request?
- Vision and Mission - Does the organization's mission match our values and goals?
- Fabrication - Can most if not all fabrication be done by our staff in-house?
- Size of Request - Is the size of the request such that we can spread our grants among several worthy organizations, maximizing the impact?
- Previous Winners - Previous grant winners are not automatically excluded, but we will be looking for new organizations to support.
- Offers of Trade or Advertising - If there are sponsorships or promotions available to us in exchange, we will consider them.

Types of Signage Included:
- Event Signage - Graphics needed for a one-time event or gathering
- Facility - Signage needed to mark rooms or direct traffic at a facility
- Indentification - Signage needed to mark a facility for promotional or directional needs

There are several levels of support that could be awarded:
- POST - 25% discount up to award amount
- PILLAR - 50% discount up to award amount
- FOUNDATION - 75% discount up to award amount
- FOOTING - 100% discount up to award amount
